The January 2010 update has been posted and ready for those with an active support license. To update your system run the CSUpdate program in the installation directory or Click Here to download and install the latest Updater.

The Update Module will verify your subscription status and check for updates. If updates are available, the CS Update program will backup your existing version then download and install the updates.

Message Scheduling

The Center Stage Scheduler has been updated with more scheduling options to potentially generate revenue by adding RDS Texting as an add-on to the clients on-air order or to get the edge on the competition. (Click Here for the RDS for Fun and Profit Flyer) The new scheduling options include:

• The ability to set a length for the display on a triggered event. For example: When the newscast intro is played the sponsors credit is displayed for the entire newscast.

• The ability to schedule a sponsor message for a specific time of day. For example, show a sponsor credit at 3pm for the 3 minute live camping report.

• As always, we can show or "trigger" a message based on an event in the on-air system. We have added the ability to day part this feature allowing us to send different sponsor messages in different day parts or to use a time appropriate messages for the same sponsor. For Example:

When news cart N102 is played between 6am and 7am one sponsor credit could be used while a different sponsor is credited between 8am and 9am.

 

For a restaurant client we could schedule the breakfast message between 6-10, a lunch messages from 10-2 and a dinner message from 4-7pm.

• A message trigger can be a specific cart number, a name or a combination of both.

For Example:

We could schedule a specific message to be used when Bob's Burgers commercial cart C102 is played and a generic message when the on-air name is Bob's Burgers.

RT+

FMB80

RT+ is now supported on the FMB80 with the firmware update available from Audemat. Once the encoder has been updated set RT+ to Yes and CSRDS will send the necessary commands to allow RT+ enabled devices to tag and purchase songs as they are playing.

Alert Notifications

If desired, on-air staff can enter and schedule an alert for the RDS display. When activated, the message will be sent to all RDS outputs except streaming players and will block all other messages until the scheduled end time.

Streaming Templates

In addition to the templates for Stream The World and Ando Media, templates have been added for TuneGenie. Using this templates you can send the now playing information to TuneGenie to be displayed in the streaming player.

CSScheduler

Language Options

Support has been added to the CSScheduler module for both French and Spanish. When, the Scheduler forms will be displayed in the selected language. This is a user level function that can be different for individual users.

This is the first in the series and other modules will soon be available in a multi-language format.

CSSchedule

Window

Size

The CSScheduler window is now sizable, allowing you to re-size the window. The window can be maximized using the standard windows commands or manually re-sized. (Note: The window can be resized even though the sizing arrows may not be shown)

Show Scheduling

The show scheduling process has been updated allowing host/producers to create a full show log with all features, breaks and segments added to a clock. This clock can then be used to quickly add details for each segment in the day. The contact database has been updated to include more information about contacts as well as a more advanced searching logarithm to quickly and easily find the right guest for the topic.

We have also added a show notes with easy access to information about the current topic.

Once entered the daily schedule can be viewed, printed and is available in an XML format for updating to your web site.

Call Screening

The new show schedule data is also available is a separate Show Prompter window that can be sized and placed as required and controlled by either the host or producer workstation.
