The April 2013 update has been posted and ready for download. To update your system, run the CSUpdate program in the installation directory, or Click Here to download and install the latest Updater.

 

The Update Module will verify your subscription status and check for updates. If updates are available, the Updater will backup your existing version then download and install the updates.

Center Stage Live

Data Casting with Center Stage Live
 Environment Canada Web Site Change Environment Canada modified their web site and the forecast data used by CSWeather is not longer available. CSWeather has been modified to capture the information from the new format. Due to the timing this update will be released in a follow-up release after beta testing has been completed. If you are using Environment Canada to add the local weather to our RDS and/or On-air systems, please contact tech support for a pre-release update.

Once updated you will need to browse to the new Environment Canada forecast for the desired city then copy that URL into the properties of CSWeather.

Tag Station CSRDS has been updated to post now playing information and to capture Tag Station Campaign information for use in the various Data Casting processes. (RDS\RBDS, HD Radio, Web, Stream, etc)
Fault Reporting The Center Stage electronic Fault reporting process will now monitor the RDS\RBDS feeds from CSRDS and automatically post a fault should CSRDS be shut down or stop processing.
Backup Stream When feeding a live streaming service, CSRDS will now feed a second backup streaming service of the same type.
Devices CSRDS now supports additional Automation and Satellite Systems including Digital Jukebox, MegASeg (MAC), Timeless Cool, WireReady, Xtream as well as the Kavarta and Omni 9 RDS Encoders.
Web Update The Web update process now has the option to send promotional messages to the web site when songs are not playing while blocking commercial messages to the web.
Local/Satellite The process of switching between local and satellite instances has been tightened with and optional Satellite Buffer option to adjust for timing differences.
CS Contest Management
Missed Contest Report A new Missed contest report is now available in the CSPickup module that will list all contests that were not played for the selected period.

Data Casting OMT

A new Data Casting option has been added providing authorized on-air staff  to post messages to the Datacasting services form the CS Contest On air module as well as to send contest information to the iMediaTouch On-Air computer.

On-Air Window Position

The On-Air module CSContest will now "remember" the position and size where the Data Entry window is located when the program is closed. When the program is restarted, the Data Entry window will be returned to that position and size.

Work Flow with CS Copy Management
Multiple Station Selection Writers may not select multiple stations for each script providing production staff with the list of stations where the commercial must be added.
OMT Playback When using CSWrite for the OMT automation system, the system now support multiple commercial folders allowing writers to preview different types of commercial scripts from their workstation.
Prompter The CSProducer prompter is now sizable and can be moved to the desired location or a second monitor.
